Our AWS Adapter already supported the most common S3 storage types for PUT operations. With the release 1.0.12 we support additional storage and security options
With the latest release we also added Glacier and DeepArchive as storage options for PUT operations.
Additionally we added a new mode for Polling S3 channels to archive a S3 object when being processed instead of simply deleting it. The object can be moved to another bucket with any existing storage type (e.g. Glacier or DeepArchive for archiving or the standard storage types for simply storing it). This adds another capability to the S3 sender features:
- Fetch and Delete S3 objects after processing
- Fetch and Archive S3 objects after processing
- Process S3 Events and fetch corresponding S3 objects
We now also support KMS based server side S3 encryption with our AWS adapter. With AWS KMS customers can manage own encryption keys that are used for “at REST” encryption of S3 object instead of the standard AWS managed encryption keys.
